What is Church Government?

Right before PCA General Assembly, I have a booklet coming out in the Basics of the Reformed Faith series with P&R. Entitled What is Church Government?, it is meant as an easy-to-read introduction to the principles of Presbyterian church government. I hope it will be useful and encouraging for interested Presbyterians, but especially for officer training.

Sean,

I am looking forward to the book! I have an office training class to do this summer. I need something short for them to read. By the way, have you started a garden? or waiting until you get to Miss. I have tomatoes, beans, onions, squash,
red potatoes and broccli (which we are eating now!)and will put in the southern holy food okra behind the potatoes. I hope you don't miss out having one this year!

We are going to miss out; we moved a couple of years ago to Sem property, which is beautiful, but not conducive to gardens. One of our priorities is having a garden in MS; I'm going to build a cold frame and hope to have fresh lettuce for the winter for the very first time! I wish I could come and eat from your garden; sounds awesome!!!

Sean,
Send your e-mail address to me at Northgatepres@juno.com and I will send you a picture of a garden that you would love. Hopefully it will show you the shape of things to come as you move bacl to the south!
