Don't care much for Jon Stewart's Daily Show. But Springsteen's appearance (second and third segments) is really good and his acoustic version of "Working on a Dream" is worth hearing.
sorry to hear that you don't care for the daily show. i find that their writers are spot on a lot of the time and do a good job of exposing the hypocrisy of both the right and the left. unfortunately their cynicism only allows them to point out the faults. there are also spots of true comic genius within the show.
hope all's well back in stl. enjoy the fact that you're heading into summer as we're heading into winter.
I think Stewart is funny; I also think he is potty-mouthed. There was one particular bit a few weeks ago that really turned me off. But I agree with John R; the line about New Jersey was priceless...

I think that may be one of the greatest interview openers since Letterman's heyday:
Stewart (looking down at note card): "So it says here you're from New Jersey."
