...but it doesn't seem to be going away. My son and I sat in the rain for an hour and a half last night before they called the ball game. The weather forecasts don't look much better for today and tomorrow. In a fluke of rain checks, our tickets will actually be good for game 5 (if they play game 4 tonight), which means if Soup wins that we could actually see Dream Weaver close out the Tigers...
In the meantime, this New Republic post about Wainwright's strike out of Beltran to end the NLCS was really interesting. To think that in all the years of baseball, that moment was amazingly rare. It is even more amazing because Beltran has been a Cards-killer for several years.
