Associate Pastors

This is a very good article on the struggles that a number of associate pastors face in their calling to serve their church and support their senior pastors. Though most of the examples are taken from oldline Protestantism, the problems transcend theological lines or ecclesial settings: how do sinful people transformed and being transformed work with others in such a way that the Gospel shines more clearly? And how do we do this while still recognizing our desire for security and significance, desires rooted in our very created humanity?
