Thanks for the article. It is always interesting to hear an outsider's perspective on church discipline.
Glad to see some churches are still practicing discipline. The article said 10%-15% do it. I thought that was actually high.
However, its certainly a shame to call the cops on someone 'trespassing' after they've been 'voted out.' I'm not sure that not allowing them to hear the gospel at your particular church would qualify as "treating them as a tax collector or sinner." I thought Jesus was a friend to such as those.
