"Relentless Greatness"

In the runaway train that is "Ryan Howard for MVP," this was a great, great article by Jayson Stark (who used to write for the Philadelphia Inquirer when I was in Philly). He puts the entire race for National League MVP in context and shows that the case for Albert Pujols is very strong. The best line: "It will be hard to ignore [Howard's projected] 60 homers and 150 RBI. But it might turn out to be even harder to ignore the relentless greatness of Albert Pujols."

IMHO: if the Phillies don't make the playoffs, then Pujols should be the NL MVP, because he has truly been the Most Valuable Player--the Cardinals do not make the playoffs without him.
