I'm sure my memory is faulty on this, but... I think it was Rutherford who said something to the effect of "build no nest in these trees, for the forest is condemned to be burned." Of a similar stripe as your post.
BTW, my brother from Hattiesburg is sitting in my living room right now. I've got to connect you two when he returns.
